Saturday, October 22
5K Monster Dash Fun Run/Walk
With Women Ending Hunger and Marion-Polk Food Share

Bring a can of food and join us for this family-friendly, wear your best costume, Hallowe'en 5K Fun Run/Walk starting in Riverfront Park to benefit Women Ending Hunger and Marion-Polk Food Share. 1K route through the park for kids; 5K loop over the pedestrian bridge to Wallace Marine Park and back for adults.  All registered runners and walkers will receive a free cinch pack full of goodies and prizes will be awarded for best costumes, adult and child.  Register online at https://registration.strands.com/weh-5kmonsterdash-salem/categories.

All proceeds will benefit Women Ending Hunger’s WOMEN’S WORK initiative and Marion-Polk Food Share.  Canned food donations are also encouraged.

Costumed Live Art
With Art Department

Special edition of Clockwork’s monthly Live Art session where artists of all kinds can sketch, draw, paint, photograph, etc. live models in costume. October’s session will feature some extra special costumes and guests.

When: 1-3 PM
Where: Clockworks Café & Cultural Center, 241 Commercial St NE
Cost: Free, but tips for the volunteer models are graciously accepted

Skatemare Before Christmas
With Cherry City Derby Girls

Cherry City Derby Girls’ 8-Wheel Assassins will be taking on the Dockyard Derby Dames’ (Tacoma, WA) The Trampires at the Skatemare Before Christmas!

CHARITY: Marion Polk Food Share - Bring 2 cans of food to get a $1 of CCDG Merch coupon (10 cans of food/$5 coupon per person max)

Where: Pavilion, Oregon State Fairgrounds
Cost: $10 advanced; $13 at the door.
